Scribblenauts Dev Talks Console Game

By Joe Dodson, 10/13/2009 1:13 AM

5th Cell, the studio responsible for Scribblenauts, is hard at work on an Xbox Live title.

And they won't say anything about it, other than the fact that it's far away. In case you don't believe us, here is an incredibly vague quote from the company creative director Jeremiah Slaczka, as told to Gamasutra:

"It's totally not ready to be announced. It's far away. The only thing that we've really announced is we're working on console stuff, and we'll see where it goes."

He goes on to lament the fact that he only has one year to make new games, while other companies have three years to make new games. We don't know what that means, but we wish he'd take a month to port Scribblenauts to XBL. We know, we know, Nintendo would never let that happen. But there's always room for a similar title, right? They could call it Doodledroids, or better yet, What Should I Make God Fight Now?
